| ^I agree with that, sadly. The problem is we never have a platform and the Republicans always have one that sucks (always making sure Gay Marriage is at the forefront and paying preachers to tell them voting for Democrats is sinful (as happened in some North Carolina church), when there's more important issues out there such as Medicare, Outsourcing, Global Warming, etc).
But I honestly think the Dems are getting themselves together, and hopefully, they can make inroads this year (but not take back either house), and in 2008, perform a major sweep. -CSM |
