Thanks, both Metal Man and Auron. Were it my choice, I'd still be coming here for many years to come. However, Fate sometimes jerks you in directions you don't plan upon, and so you just have to go with the flow. I by no means permanently gone; but I'm by no means going to remain avidly active on the boards.
And no, before anyone thinks that I'm still here "actively" because I'm still posting, I'm only checking two topics on the board, both this one and the corresponding one in the Mod Forum. Sorry to burst your bubble. X)
