>Complete and quick regeneration from burn- and fire- related wounds
>Some regeneration of wounds that are NOT burn- and fire- related.
>Flight of up to 125 miles per hour
>Spellcasting abilities, especially fire- and wind- related. Using this, he has learned to basically control wind completely, and have some manipulation of fire.
>Can heat things up that are around him. He uses this to make things spontaneously combust.

Attacks:
>Dive-bombing people with his talons; he enjoys lighting his talons (Which are razor-sharp) on fire right before dive-bombing.
> A suicide attack called the Spell of Violent Cremation. It's a bit complex, and different every time.

Weapons:
>A spear made of ashes. At will, he can turn it into fire and it can regenerate its normal shape.(This is what keeps it from collapsing into a pile of dust) For some reason the fire stabs as if it were solid when hit. He enjoys hunting with this spear; it eliminates the purpose of cooking.
>Strangely shaped blades that Zakaria uses for throwing purposes. They are made of magnesium, so he can light them on fire and throw them. Need I remind you that magnesium burns intensely hot and even underwater.
>A small, indestructible pendant that aids in spell-casting; using this, he can cast spells by thinking them rather than saying them. It can also store flames in it, and release them with five times as much heat and power.

History:
Zakaria was naturally born part pheonix. He was ostracized by everone except the people that had taken him away for study when he was young. This made him develop an antisocial and cynical view towards life.
One day, he saw witches gathering around a bonfire outside his cell window. He escaped and flew directly into the fire. The witches were stunned and the scientists shocked. Everyone left, and later, when the fire burned out, he came forth from the ashes. He noticed that the witches had left their books there, and he got interested in magic this way.
