| you're right. Any guy who won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years HAS to be overrated. |
brady doesnt win championships, teams win championships. brady was a big part of their back-to-back titles, but the only thing brady did worth mentioning, in the 1st superbowl win, was the game winning drive w/ less than 2 minutes left, capped off by a vinatieri fg.
even tho brady was, probly, the biggest part of the back-to-back titles, theres another guy who was just as big, if not bigger. he WAS recognized for it in XXXIX by winning mvp, he wasnt in XXXVIII. that person is deion branch, with a combined 21 catches 276 yds and 1 td in those titles (11 catches, 133 yds, 0 tds in his mvp performance).
in XXXVI tho, brady was just avg (16-27, 145 yds, 1 td) and it was defense and vinatieri that won it (law int returned for a td and a 48 yd vinatieri fg to win the game).
o ya, 3 questions to end the whole "how the pats were able to win 3 titles in 4 years" debate. 1) how many points did the pats win by in EACH superbowl?
2) what is the ONLY way to score that many points? and 3) who was the ONLY person to get those points, all being game-winners?
p.s. - the only time manning has "choked" in the post-season (that i can remember) was against the jets of 02, who were supposed to have barely made the playoffs. last year, it was another colt, by the name of vanderjagt, who choked it up big time.
