OoC: Probably final attack, I am searching for a judge to declare winner, if that’s okay. I might choose Selene or HotD, if you even want a judge to declare winner. The last attack from me is gonna do damage enough to both of us, and winner can decide whether or not they want to finish it. Okay with you?

Galefore’s only remorse now was the foolish use of the chapel’s steeples to attack an ANGEL. What foolishness was he thinking by using the very roof points of a holy place to attack a wrathful holy entity, and what could he do to stop it? Lightning wouldn’t help; the steeple tops were metal, so they would act as a lightning rod to fling away the crackling bits of power, and Galefore’s only real choice at this moment was to move faster, but he had tripped and hit his face, biting his tongue and sending a splash of warm blood and sensation through his mouth, and a horrible metallic taste into his throat. Galefore crawled as the shadow of the gem-snake approached and became audible in the wind, and then…

CRUNCH.

The crunch was a combination of the stones under Galefore and the leg that he had taken, not to mention the snow which crunched as well, so a grand crunch it was, audible all around the dark church. The serene peace was still there, but now it had been broken monetarily. Galefore only made a strange guttural gurgle, as his leg was completely impaled and blood splashed around him, staining his armor. He looked with wide eyes at his leg, which was still movable because he could still feel it burning and stinging, the steeple rising on Seraph’s command and dripping blood. There was still a piece of metal in the wound from the armor which had been dug into his skin by the attack, and this caused the pain to multiply in a large way, nothing but anger bubbling from Galefore’s mind. Blood still dripped from the steeple, which was now above Galefore’s armor, and it hit his breastplate several times.

Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink.

And then silence, as Galefore rolled over and the blood silently fell with the snow to hit the almost covered stone of the ground, a small fissure now where the steeple had entered. Galefore coughed from the still relevant blood loss, not only from his earlier wounds from the chain blade, but also his wound from the hitting of the wall, and the wound from being pinned to a wall, and several others. A two inch hole straight through his leg, barely missing the bone, wasn’t helping, as it still bled even more than his other bleeding wounds.

Galefore let out a frustrated yell. His very energy was slowing even as he lost blood, his armor now rattling from the amount of static electricity he was purposely emitting. Galefore stared at Seraph, who held the giant snake poised to attack, then slowly stood up, grunting as he stood on the punctured appendage on his right side. He stared at the giant creature, drew his sword, and jumped in flight, an energy-based slash dissecting and ending the crystal, which fell in pieces with an incredible noise. Seraph angrily grunted. Galefore floated momentarily, his body now dripping, no, pouring blood.

He sprawled in midair, releasing his hold on the bolts that suspended him, and sheathed his sword quickly, his body now so ready to release energy that Galefore emitted blots even as he fell. He held his right hand forward, stared in a blank way, and then it happened.

What happened had happened quickly, as Seraph stared at the product. Such a large creation of energy flying towards him, one of white hot lightning, burning quite literally hotter than the surface of the sun. It was barging towards the angel. Barging with no stop, and barging so quickly that Seraph couldn’t hold any sort of clear thought for the minute it flew towards him. Galefore was out of visibility range now, the huge star-like energy flying towards Seraph was blocking him out. Galefore was on the other side, in fact, sitting on the ground and yelling in torture, as he had used up so much of his energy…

Even his bleeding hurt less than the recoil he was experiencing from such waste of energy, a static back-bite which even his immunity, or so it is called, to lightning was unable to handle. He moaned, but the loud pops and jeers of the star-quality bolt blocked it out. If it connected, Galefore thought, his worries would honestly be over.

But what chance did it have of connecting? Even energy that large might not be able to hit the powerful angel, who was a crafty enigma and able to most likely get out of it, despite the obvious size of the cataclysm. It was probably visible, and even more likely audible, hundred of miles away, as a sort of earthen but still celestial glow of wonder.

It was approaching its destination, and about to connect with the ground.

Would it hit its target, or miss, veering away and exploding into a hideous light. If it did so, it would destroy the cathedral in some areas, but the two creatures could fly away with their differing abilities. If it did hit Seraph, the star (Called so to tell of its whiteness, electricity, and temperature) would quite literally consume him in most cases, but since he was an angel, it would probably enter him instead, and he would be destroyed by it. In the midst of this, Galefore threw his sword through it --It was quite capable of surviving high temperature and lightning, as it was made to do so-- and it lodged into the unsuspecting Seraph’s arm. It was a stab in the dark, but an effective one.

That would slow Seraph down, for certain, in fact. As the star cataclysm approached its final destination, Galefore fell backwards and shut his eyes. All that was left was the sound of it crashing, which told him that it had connected with something, angel or no, and the hope that it had secured victory.

One could only hope.
