Doesn't mean I can't say Ueda was going insane when he decided to write that (he could have proven to me that he had some sanity if the way he decided to deal with the monster didn't feel like such a copout or he left out the part about the horse MAGICALLY surviving that fall, the hero being turned into a baby, and the forest paradise that just happened to be there to make a home for the girl. Primarily the hero being turned into a baby.)
And yes, I actually did notice in many of the camera jerks on the walls that the wanderer started looking sick as the game went on (as if the fact he starts exhaling black stuff after each boss wasn't sign enough that something was wrong).
