Well, I read that
review. A lot of it reads like a manual. What review is there amounts to a flaw followed by "But that doesn't matter because...!" and reminds me of 1-Up's review of God Hand where they say clipping errors make the game fun. Instead of saying "It's great that the game doesn't have music because it doesn't need it!" maybe you could go into what's appreciable about the music when it's there? And that's great that the camera can be "fixed" with the right analog stick, at least until you move your thumb back off to, you know, do something required by the face buttons? And maybe it would be difficult to be impressed by any other boss design if this is the only game you play that isn't a Mario or Sonic game. There's nothing about the healing system, which negates any and all legit challenge and fear the game could have. Finally, was the paragraph about the horse really necessary?
But most importantly, there's no elaboration on what makes the colossus fights amazing and how "any of the colossi - any single one of them - is better than pretty much any other boss battle in the history of videogames", because "it would be a spoiler". Well, lay it on me, there's nothing to spoil.
