| Blood Plus
Disappointingly, it was indeed not a sequel to Trinity Blood, which almost pissed me off.
Until I saw the show, which seems to be pretty respectable in the long run. The first episode didn't give me much to go off of, so I almost feel as if it is necessary to watch the rest to figure it out.
It seems to be covered in intrigue, and inasmuch, I am intrigued. The art is good, the characters seem interesting, and there is a good bit of originality and a clever spin on the traditional vampire story. Just like TB, minus the Catholocism and shiny art. (Trinity Blood had this art style that always seemed to be softly glowing, and very high production quality.)
Anyway, discuss. Watch further. Hope it either A) Is awesome and outweighs TB or B) Does not catch your attention in case it has a sucky ending and an overly confusing plot.
I'm hoping for A, but B's my backup plan. |
