You know, you don't need permission to write about something. Take, for example, the Wikipedia article on Daniel Brant:

Obviously, they wrote about him anyway. But in this case, it's just good manners to ask before you write about a comic.
And what are you going to license the wiki's content under? GFDL? Or is there no choice?
