No, don't. That movie pretty much says that the Spartans invented the United States and beat the USSR.
Spoiler Below And as to why they looked like Orcs, it's a narrative device. The entire movie was told by the one survivor, so the film (and Graphic Novel) took on a larger than life aspect and look to the Persians.
