I watch both the BF and this forum to make sure things are still in order. I only post when I feel I have something worth contributing. That goes for all over VGF. There isn't exactly much growth to promote for a series like Metroid in which installments have been traditionally few and far in between. Not to mention the fact that Nintendo has been tight lipped (as always) about the new games for the most part. Only dropping us new things once and awhile like during E3. Frankly it seems to me that all of which has been posted in the Metroid forum is all that can be thought up to be said. I've posted in the past and gotten a maximum of what seems to be about 5 or so posts. What makes you think anyone else can do better? Like Kirby, (and like it or not) Metroid is a small series so there will be many dry spells and will have very little to talk about after awhile. It's hard to promote growth when about five people stick around to talk. And those five don't exactly talk much anyway. I'll respond if I sense I can make some sort of good response. But not really much that has been said has grabbed me and demanded I make a response. There's only so many times you can talk about Ridley or Kraid or the origins of Samus or how her morph ball must work with the same people before it gets stale. It's the nature of a small series. And I've no idea why the Kirby forum has two mods, and that's not my concern. Frankly, if things are kept under control I don't see a problem here. I highly doubt anyone can inject enough sustance (which so little to work with) into the topic of Metroid to as allow it to rival, say, Mario or Pokemon in terms of massive attendance. Small series equals small forum. Simple as that. I appreciate all the effort you've put into the forum to try and liven things up but there's only so much something like a 'never ending cheat' can do. (Personally I don't like a topic like the one I mentioned but if other people wanna do that sorta thing they can be my guest.) I'm not quite the orator that Joker is, but I've done my best.
