I personally loved
Spoiler Below The marriage. I thought it added tradegy to Will becoming the Captain. Also, isn't it a bit ironic that Jack spent all his time throughout the movies wanting to be captain and both Elizabeth and Will get to be one? I found that amusing. I found the end fight very satisfying. I love how the end was all based on cliffhanger because I don't think a happy ending would be appropriate in this case.
I would argue that this movie was the best out of the three. Barbossa is by far my new favorite character.
What I didn't like was
Spoiler Below The witch lady becoming this large lady who just happened to have the rope grow to her size. I think that was overdoing her character development. A squid man and a crazy lady with black teeth? Not a pair I would pick for couple of the year. Also, did Will's son have to look so much like the boy in the beginning? That threw me off-guard for a second there.
