I liked it better than the second, but not as much as the first. It still was a little bit overkill, but not as much as DMC.
Spoiler Below I hated the marriage as well. It seemed to me that the writer's wanted to make Will's 'death' seem more tragic by having them married just before. They weren't exactly on good terms for most of the movie. At first I thought it was a trick of Will to become pirate king (or would that be queen?), but it seemed very contrived to me.
Even though I liked all three, I hope they don't make any more. Especially not if they can't get all the cast members, even for the minor roles.
