Back off PK, He's mine!

I really, really want to try out WoW but I have two problems.

1. My computer belongs in a museum.

2. From what I've read and seen, it might not be safe for me to play it. It's possibly the most incredible looking game I've ever seen and I fear that if I was to ever actually get it I would be powerless to resist it. A game like this could consume my life for months on end.

Maybe I just like torturing myself, but I'd still like to hear what others have to say about it.
