The old Commodore 64 version of 'Predator' used to mess me up. I mean, you'd just be hiking along, blowing bad guys away with various and sundry assault weapons, and then everything would inexplicably turn black-and-white, and that damned laser death-beam triangle would appear on the screen, and, if it touched you, you would friggin' explode or get cut in half or something--I don't remember what exactly, only that it was tremendously bloody. Granted, I was only six at the time, but it still scared me silly. |
