The gameplay is realistic except the fact that there's no blood and gore. I imagine-- in fact, the manual or something even said-- that that is to sorta "clean up" war for potential recruits. I know damn well that getting shot doesn't result in a puff of red smoke. But getting limbs and **** blown off in a bloody explosion, round after round, would be kind of unnecessary, and deter rather than encourage people from, you know, the point of the game (joining the Army). However... probably the smarter people out there will realize that it's not as sanitized as the game makes it out to be, and therefore at least think twice about joining the Army. I mean, if they do it out of patriotism, or just to get a paying job, that's one thing, but anyone who joins the Army for "fun" probably deserves whatever they get.
