Mewkies are the basic enemies from the Mappy games. My sprite form is an enlarged blue one - in the actual game they're pink (just like the one in that drawing), and while I don't mind pink as a color (some of my favorite VG characters wear pink. Just look at Taro) it's just not something I myself would wear.
By the way, while Mappyland is actually a quite enjoyable game, the original Mappy is borderline unplayable.
