The Voodoo 4s and 5s would have been almost as good as the 3s if 3DFX wouldn't have gone under and sold everything to nVidia. I preferred the 3 series for the longest time because it gave a great balanace of power, speed, and affordability. I could use the Voodoo 3 and still not be able to tell the difference between the 16 Voodoo 3 and the 32 GeForce. My main problem I had with NVidia's chipsets is that unless the game was designed on their sets, it would perform sluggish.
