By the same argument, having a CD burner, a VCR recorder, and a video capture card all entitles one to use them as often as possible. In other words, the distribution of pirated material through CDs while earning a profit selling them is as justified as downloading them through p2p networks--that is, illegal. To go one another extreme, having a gun entitles one to use it as much as one wants, but if all who felt it useful engaged in activities analogous to what you are doing in the video industry, the tax required to civil order impedes all possibilities of social mobility except downward. |
