Good movie, The Green Mile was good as well. Great if you enjoy crying during a movie.
Another good prison (escape) drama is Escape from Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood. The story is not quite as deep or dramatic, but it focusses more on the escaping (which I personally like). Still, there are a lot of similarities between the two movies, which is why some think Shawshank ripped off Escape.
