Yes, South Park's "Passion of the Christ" was rather dissapointing, especially after the hilarity of "Good Times with Weapons." It was nice to see Cartman as Hitler though. Mel Gibson was a little over the top, though. I also don't like how they animated him. A little "smoother" than Saddam was, and I don't like how it turned out.
Of course, much of the Mel Gibson hijinx was clearly a rather transparent rip off of some of the older Daffy Duck cartoons. (That combined with the rather obvious joke of calling Mel Gibson a masochist.) |
