As the title of the topic implies, I'm done. Maybe it's the fact that I'm incredibly nervous about my algebra finals later today. Maybe it's the fact that I'm a total grouch because I woke up five minutes ago and can't go back to sleep. Or maybe, just maybe, it's the fact that I'm tired of arguing over trivial matters with people who, as far as I know, are forty year-old asswipes who download nude images of "Britney Spears" in their mother's basement.
During my two year stay here, I've tried to be a nice guy, which got me some friends (MK, Codie, LVK, Phil, etc.). But to others I was just another gamer who tried to be a "good kid". So what did I do? I tried acting like a badass. More friends? Not really. More respect? Maybe, who knows?
I've also tried to be an active member here at VGF. Wanna know a little known fact? Whenever I posted in a topic, the topic would either end or no one would even acknowledge my reply.
I'm fed up the most with this "constructive criticism" sh*t. It became a major issue when dux came along, and even more when Kamek started his comix. When dux came along, everybody flamed him, he whined, end of story. Suddenly, out of the blue, he returns, I flame, some newb starts bashing the hell out of me...Sounds like a nice little cyber life doesn't it? Please...if I wanted a nice "cyber life", as I so oddly put it, I'd play Animal Crossing everyday.
So this is, I guess, my goodbye. Could this mean the end of DMP and AF5 as well? For some asshats, probably. Could I return? If someone convinced me, but still, unlikely. Oh wait...screw that. I've seen how people do me a favor around here. I guess I'll just pop in and out from time to time to check how things are going.
Sure, I've had some good times (Caption Contest!, One Line Story, The NC Beach House), but it still can't account for all the bad times I've seen this place go through, and I'm sick of it. So goodbye everyone. Thanks for a terrible time.
