Actually, one thing I can't help but give that Garfield game credit for is the music to the basement. It's kind of catchy. Not a Mozart of gaming soundtracks at all, but for how poor the game is it's a definite A+.
Curiously, the PC version of Garfield: Caught in the Act has a very impressive soundtrack. The game isn't any better than the Genesis version (the levels are rearranged, more chronologically. It also has a really boring alien stage that doesn't add anything), but if you can find it cheap I'd recommend getting it just for the soundtrack.
