Note- Blond is spelled with no 'e' for a male's hair. Blonde means you're talking about a woman. (Wierd vagaries of the English language.)

Also, it seems to have been pretty firmly established of late that Link's hair is either blond or brown- perhaps something a bit in between, kind of a straw-blond or pale brown. Likely, they plan to stick with blond from here on.

I could be wrong, though.
