| Hurricane Spin is still a WW Link specific move, anyway. That's why intelligent people disregard remakes like A Link to the Past/Four Swords and Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon as not canon.(note that the second one is just a good example, since it really has nothing to do with the topic)
If there's one thing I've learned, is that any 3-D move can be turned into a 2-D move. The only difference would be that Vaati would probably not be as good(or better, depending on how they do it). Anyway, I have a feeling he won't even get in now, since Zelda has great enough rep with just Link, Zelda, and -obviously- Ganondorf alone.
It seems that they're giving rep to the least seen series in Smash. We've already got a total of 5 Pokémon characters(soon to be 6, since we all know Jigglypuff's returning anyway), and since it was poorly represented in Melee anyway...well, who knows.
Your poll would've been better if you hadn't put so many characters variations on it(Vacuum Luigi, Sunshine Mario?!), as some just plain out suck. I even listed them for you. Of course, I don't mean the games themself, but the characters. Paper Mario, however, it different enough, as is WW Link. |
