All Luigis spend 5 energy to buy 10 Mega Mushrooms, 8 of which they will then use. (I assume you can't use more than one MM on a single unit per day, otherwise I will have infinite resources and instantly break the game.)

Luigis 1-8: RG, 3 energy. (312 c)

Hiring 2 more Luigis. (52 c) Using the last 2 Mega Mushrooms on them.

Luigis 9-10: RG, 1 energy. (72 c)

Buying 2 Super Mushrooms, equipping them on Luigis 9-10. (0 c)

Luigis 1-8: RG, 7 energy. (560 c)

Luigis 9-10: Spending 14 energy each to buy items. (840 item-c) Buying 4 Fire Flowers, 4 Blue Shells, and a Mega Mushroom.

Hiring 4 new Luigis. (40 c) Using the Mega Mushroom on Luigi 11.

Luigi 11: Spending 12 energy to buy items (360 item-c). Buying 3 Mega Mushrooms. RG, 2 energy. (60 c)

Using the Mega Mushrooms on Luigis 12-14.
