| Yes, it would impact sales on the second system, but that's the point of paying the money for the timed exclusive. Those sales wouldn't disappear in most cases... they'd either wait or buy the first one that comes out. GTA3 launched on an installed base of 4 million and did quite well for itself.
In terms of percentage of userbase and what it would have sold had it not been on Gamecube, PS2 RE4 performed poorly, but it still outsold the Gamecube version. __________________
