LSU played Louisiana Tech this week- you didn't hear a word about it from the media. If tOSU was playing them this week instead of Illinois the media would have been throwing a huge crapfest about how Ohio State or the Big Ten doesn't play anybody.

The Big Ten and SEC both have ten bowl eligible teams. There is a difference in the quality of play this year, but it's not as ginormous as everyone chooses to believe it is.
The SEC is the biggest circle-jerk conference out there. That being said, they all generally schedule one good, ranked team per year. The Big 10 hasn't performed well out of its conference and as a whole stacked up a ****ton of cupcakes.

Plus, with LSU, there's that whole thing of wins over #9 Va Tech, #12 S Carolina, #9 FLA, #17 Auburn, and #17 Alabama with the only loss coming from #17 Kentucky. Va Tech, FLA, and KY are still in it, Auburn's just out of the top 25. tOSU's ranked opponents are either gone (ala Purdue) or just hanging on that cust of "just in, just out" (Wisconsin, Penn State). Come on now, I'm defending LSU getting the 1 spot and their SoS and I despise that team.

Really, best conferences are the PAC-10 and Big 12. LSU will lose again. They've been letting teams play too close too often.

Oregon-KU/OU/Mizzou?! BCS Big Game at the End FTW.
