| Most teenagers aren't ready for much, if any responsibility. I don't have much faith in the human race, especially teens, to do anything right the first try. Still, it's your life to screw up. Just like my life is mine to screw up. If I were afraid of sex just because I was "too young", then I wouldn't be nearly as coordinated and capable as I am today. Being able to please your lover is something that often enough requires (very satisfying, but often frustrating) practice. If you save yourself just for marriage, and it's years down the road.. Well, you might be in for a big disappointment, if your partner feels the same way. Sexual activity is a normal part of a healthy adult life.
People don't exercise nearly so much scrutiny when they choose to get into a car, but a car accident holds much worse consequences than becoming a young parent. |
