It seems to be that you talking about this is a bad thing.

However the facts are:

It's the first (feature) animated version of Dr. Suess' books
It starts the start of the only semi-decent live action Suess adaptation (Jim Carrey)
It co-stars Steve Carell (one of the funniest comedians out there right now)
It's made by Blue Sky (third in the major CGI animation companies, but that's better than being 556th)
The new trailer looks pretty decent
