In the northern part of Clock Town a local magical being was making plans for the night
"Come, little one. I have mission for you. Somebody to protect. You understand your mission, right? Off you go, then!"

The tiny ball of light sped off into the night sky. With a nod of approval the being turned back to her abode.
It was then that she heard something... It was almost musical. A rythmic chanting. How strange...

As the chanting grew louder and closer a dark swarm of insects decended upon the dwelling.
She called to her little friends for help, but to no avail! Innumrable carnivoruos moths poured in, overwhelming the little fairys with sheer numbers. Dozens of poisonous spiders crawled in through any opening they could find.
A wall of flames cut off any hope of escaping.

It was then that an enormous black shape emerged from the flames.
A scream pierced the night.

The fire burned away the evidence, and the insects carried away anything that was left.

TML was the Great Fairy, Clock Town's Protector, Townie aligned.

A tiny deku sat in a gilded cage. It wasn't a terrible place, but how she had grown to loath it.
Day in and day out she yearned for her freedom.

So when she heard somebody outside the door, even though she knew she should be, she wasn't frightened.

A blade decended.
Her last thought was, "...at least now I'm free."

By morning, all that remained was a few leaves, a pile of splinters, and the curved blade of the pirate's weapon of choice. Dulled and broken from all the chopping.

Deku Royalty Meets It's End
The remains of the missing Deku Princess, of the swamp kingdom to the south were found this early morning. They were escourted by a full armed guard back to her homeland.Up until now, local officials had considered it a missing persons case, but investigation efforts were hampered by strained relations with the Deku Kingdom and the rising crime rates in local areas. No comment was made by the royal family upon delivery of the grim news, and news personal were not permitted entry to the ancestral palace of the Deku.

An exhaustive investigation of the circumstances leading up to this tragedy, and how it may have been mishandled...
