No good bowl games? The Poinsettia, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Motor City, Armed Forces, Music City, Peach, Outback, Gator and Capital One Bowls were all epix. And that's not even counting all the other games decided by a touchdown or less that I didn't get a chance to watch.

You could make good arguments for or against any of the top 5 or 6 in the BCS standings- there's no happy ending solution to be found this year.

Pulling an Ohio State would be scheduling home and aways with traditional power schools like Texas, USC, Miami (FL), Cal and Virginia Tech-which Ohio State has done- this year is the exception, not the rule.
