The schools get exposure for their program, which helps for recruiting and sponsorships, plus they get a ton of money for just showing up. And what 21 year old college student doesn't love an all expense paid trip to Vegas for New Years? If you're an AD or a player at a mid-major or middle-tier program, ya can't lose.
