Well like any anime, the english dubbed is bound to be terrible. The original versions are much more better seeing as they don't cut back on the more 'graphic' material and don't edit the cussing the characters say. And the english voice acting is god awful. Oh, and being on cartoon network doesn't help the show either.
Personally I thought the entire existence of the show was stupid until my friend made me watch a shippuden episode with Sakura and this Elder lady fight a puppet master. The fight was one of the most unique fights I'd ever seen and dragged me right into the series. Now I'm watching the entire thing from start.
What I also like about the series is the battles so far seemed to be executed differently each time. I like the concept of how opponents have to outsmart each other, and not just be physically stronger than them.
