Bah. I've played "Alice's Restaurant" (18 min, though Arlo claims it's 25) several times on the air, uninterrupted. Heck, I've played Weird Al's "Peter & the Wolf" (26 min) several times, always uninterrupted.

I don't think cussing in song lyrics should be banned or restricted or whatever; I just hate "single versions" of anything (except "Don't Want You Back") for any reason: length, language, political correctness ("Let's Get It Started"), etc. The single of "Smooth," for example, cuts out half the guitar solo; it's a freaking SANTANA song, and they cut the GUITAR PART to make it fit a radio schedule.

Heck, I've even played songs that could get me fired because of their language (we're not FCC-regulated, but there are still some limits; it is a school station). Sometimes I flip on the mic and do a manual bleep, but no one but my manager cares if I don't.
