Sith:

1. I already use an alternate name all across the internet. "Darth Metallius" would be pretty good.
2. I already use anger to defeat people, be it in battle or in arguments (sometimes), so it'd also be a match.
3. I've always wanted to shoot force lightning at people.
4. The Jedi repression of emotion is illogical, contrary to their claims that they are actually the most logical side.
5. Each Sith lord has pretty good choice of how they'll be. While many sources point them out to be evil, several have built vast things which actually helped people.

Well, their people.

But I get to the crux of the matter: As a Sith lord, I'd be free to do what I want, even be sorta Chaotic Neutral; after all, it's kosher to slay any other Sith Lords that'd try to annoy me as well as Jedi.

As a Jedi, I'd be forced to being the errand boy for a circle of old, naive men who have forgotten what the outside world looks like. Forced to not display emotions, not use cool things like Force Lightning, etc.

So it's a landslide choice for me.
