"You forget one thing."

The man pressed the device on his wrist.

"The larger the power difference we have, the stronger this gets."

It began to glow quite dangerously, creating a disturbance powerful enough to begin to damage the reality around Metal Man.

"You are now astronomically more powerful than me. Furthermore, you have added to your misfortune by disabling even more of my power with your amazingly powerful punch which is supposedly slowly killing me."

The device continued glowing, now so bright the sun was beginning to look dim.

"You didn't think I was doing what I did for a reason? How gullible of you. In your fervor you just gave me the power to destroy you, this solar system, and probably some people in another dimension with the flick of a finger."

The indicator LED on the device broke, gigantic bits of energy now angrily lashing at and damaging the reality around Metal Man.

"And now that your attack has me at one touch before death... and you yourself have demigodlike power... I have only two words for you.

As the man looked up, cracks formed in reality, caused by the immense power of Inferno being compared to the force of Metal Man, who was pretty much dead as it was, or at least it would seem.

The sun, which Draco had promised not to allow to go super nova, would not go Nova. Rather, the fabric of reality which it sat in just happened to cease existing.

Before his erstwhile foe could speak, however, Metal Man mouthed the fatal words.

"GAME OVER."

With that, a violent shock split through reality, as the unbelievable power was bounced in all directions, ripping the galaxy they were in down to nothing, and then bouncing back again. The basic bonds of existence ceased to be; matter became energy, energy annihilated that which was around it...

But that would have been a merciful end for Inferno, although it was unlikely to be possible to kill him directly--Metal Man simply wished to leave the immortal a very painful memory, although it was very possible it might kill him...

The energy ripped free, revealed Inferno and Metal Man floating in a white void. Metal Man fell free as the energy of the reality they had been coalesced between them.

Large numbers appeared. Inferno's power level, apparently, had reached infinity; Metal Man's, 1.

Therefore a counter appeared above the energy, showing infinity minus one. That... was going to be the amount of destructive energy thrown at his foe.

Inferno could speak, but there was no reality to carry his words, as the astronomical energy hit him from all times. Without time, it seemed to last a couple eternities, repeatedly destroying Inferno and putting him back together, replaying his worst memories over and over again... sending him back and forwards across eternity.

Eventually, a battered and most likely aged, if not completely dead, Inferno would be flung out a portal into another, non-destroyed reality, one of Metal Man's visors stabbed into his back.

If he was alive, he would be able to pull it out and read a note. "If you are reading this, then it is apparent you cannot be killed. Oh well. At least I destroyed that reality."

There would be no trace, otherwise, of where Metal Man went. It appeared that there was only so much madness he could take, and his foe had apparently proven to him his inability to feel pain with his endless powerups. Powerups without magnitude--what good were they when they distracted one from the reasons for fighting in the first place?

--OOC: And that ends my part in this battle. You may pose what you wish, but I believe I have finished it... at least, on my side. I don't mind what you do or say about it, that's just my logical conclusion for it. You do what you wish. Don't worry, nothing personal.
