| ^^I rather disagree. Sega has given Sonic a more mature image compared to how Nintendo has created Mario's silly immaturity. This is seen OBVIOUSLY in Shadow the Hedgehog. Sega wanted a T rated Sonic game. This is a lot better in marketing, in my opinion, in that Sega wanted their mascot to grow up alongside their fans. Mario can be defined as ageless, however. Let's also note that Sonic's storylines have also been more mature (he dies once!). |
