Neither is Sonic in 4kid's hands, nor is the anime being translated anymore.
Furthermore, even if you have the Japanese version with true-to-life translations... it still butchers Sonic, and it isn't made by 4kids, it was only dubbed.
The 4kids voices are annoying but by no means the be all and end all of things which damage Sonic; hence all you did was break what I said, as belief that 4kids broke Sonic is sort of like saying it was Michael Jackson's hair which destroyed his true image or Elvis was killed by fatty foods instead of his own self-destructive tendencies.
It was Sega which decided to give 4kids dubbing rights, not 4kids. It was Sega who changed voice actors, not 4kids. 4kids in this case only did what they were told to do, and in messing up the anime they messed up an already messed up product.
I understand your outrage at the voice actors change and the way the anime was dubbed, but at the same time I emphasize that it is
absolutely missing the point of what is the main cause of Sonic destruction.
Naturally I wouldn't mind, except you put words in my mouth. So I decide you should have the real ones in excess to make sure you don't do it again.
As for the escape from the destroyed island... I guess that's where you need to throw your hands up and go "They musta gotten out with magic!" because otherwise... imagine what an ending would be!
