This and Detect are ridiculously irritating, and not that good either.

What makes it worse is that the cart abuses it almost as badly as it abuses the Selfdestruct-type moves (Wild Geodude/Graveler Selfdestruct turn 1! Drain those limited resources! We'll send you running back to the Pokemon Center all day!). The only really nasty thing I can see here is if you could manage to get it on the same 'mon as Protect, and then hit Toxic/Leech Seed or (Ghost)Curse/Leech Seed with it.
