If you like Strategy RPG's then get the PS3 and wait till August for Disgaea 3. (The first two games I have easily had 1000 hours between the two games, not including restarts and New Game +. )

If you get a 360, go for Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey.

The Elder Scolls is a must RPG if you get either console. It's a big game that will take longer than 80 plus hours to complete.
