Well, DZ is 14... Not everyone at 14 feels the same things... it's all a matter of upbringing and beliefs and personal things, too.
What I'm saying is, it's PERFECTLY okay to be asexual, DZ!!!
And you have friends... we're here. But I understand that you want friends to be social with. Well, friendship is one of those complicated things where you actually have to put time and effort in and be a friend yourself, as well. But you already know this, I bet!!!
I suggest that you work out your favourite interests offline, that can be done in a group... for example, sport... you might not be the athletic type, so think of things like ten pin bowling or whatever else you actually think you'll enjoy... then join a club. And go participate with other people.
You'll find that you'll make friends easier with people who share similar interests.
And as corny as it sounds, practice smiling... especially if you don't already!!! It's a known fact that people are attracted to others that seem to be smiling, displaying they're happy with themselves, if nothing else.
And, Wesley will hopefully become more tolerant of others differences as he grows up...
