Linear homogenuous recurrence relations of degree K have something to do with it and/or the other branches of math in that area, if I remember correctly.
The strange part is mostly they let me do that and yet I may still have to fight some to get allowed into Calculus... the difficulty level in Discrete math is about as high as it gets in this community college setting. *shrug*
