- For those who do not know, Gimp is a free open-source photo manipulation software.
- It's similar to Photoshop, but I believe that it's most likely less powerful.
Requirements(for windows): *Copy and pasted from Gimp.org
Installation: 1. Go to Gimp.org, and to the lower left, choose whatever version you need, depending on your 5ystem.
2. Click where it says "Automated Installer," and I think you can take it from there.
Okay, once installed, you can start messing around with it.

Tutorials: *It's great to follow tutorials before you start making your own techniques, good way of learning.
Gimptalk- Great tutorials all over the site+forums.
Gimp-tutorials.com- Amazing tutorials put in a easy manageble way.
C4ds: *Later on, you'll find that these are sweet for signatures.
Gamerenders -Don't really know any other good ones.
Font: dafont.com Themes: Tutorial I found a library of themes a while ago, but don't remember, google it.
SCRlPT-FU:(capitalized for posting reasons)
*They're like extensions that make tasks easier, and new filters, etc.
Go to the gimptalk.com resources section in the forums.

Here's my sig, down there is an unfinished part, and is an example of what can be achieved or surpassed.
My signature i have right now, is finished, except I added animation for fun.
This is some what of a guide, some one posted it on Knight Online forums, I use PS so I don't know how to use this.
