Anyway, I don't know much about this game or shadow the hedgehog but I'll tell you what I think is annoying about games like this.
Sonic is generally a game where you use the characters' abilities to 'defeat' enemies. However, when I think of Shadow the Hedgehog and this game, I think of characters using weapons to 'kill' people. I'm guessing there is no gore or violence so it doesn't LOOK like they're killing enemies, but my initial reaction is weapons = killing. That combo does not sit well for me. I believe that to be the inconsistent part of the Sonic series when you move from 'defeating' foes to 'killing' foes which is why Shadow the Hedgehog never drew interest to me. I'll admit this game would draw 'more' interest to me than Shadow though. How much more I'm not sure. |
