If you've tampered with the calendar, you may have figured out that you get 10,000 bells every New Year's Day. Mr. Resetti, Tom Nook, and nobody else will notice. You can do this as many times as you think is necessary. But, there are a few catches:

1. The most you'll be able to get is 990,000 bells, because the calendar only goes up to the year 2099. (Unconfirmed)
2. You cannot alternate between two years to collect the money. (Also unconfirmed)
3. You must collect each 10,000 bells seperately. If you try to let the bells stack up, you'll end up with six New Year's letters, and only one bag of bells. (Confirmed)

If you need money quickly, remember this "cheat." It takes only one minute to collect 10,000 bells.

Cheaters. I get money the right way. Red Snapper, Barred Knife Jaws and Arpaimas go for a lot! As well as white scallops.

From what i've read from time travelers, the game goes up to 2030. And if you want to make money, just fish and sell fruit and to jobs for villagers.

There are no Arapaima's in the ocean. You can get the living fossil in the ocean though, and that brings in 15,000 bell per fish. Arapaima's are in the stream (usually only the pond and by the water fall unless its' raining).

Aside from catching expensive fish, the ocean is pretty crappy. I've only caught 5 differnt species in the ocean, and about 16 or so in the stream so far.

I get my money the easy way, without cheating, TURNIPS!!! I swear, it's the easiest way to get (and lose!) money!! I have 1,000,000+ bells by turnips.

My AC game only goes up to 2021 also my coison has the game and set it to 2021 december 31 at 11 58 Pm and 2 minutes later it said it was year 2002

I just do work for people and shake the trees and go to the dump and sell stuff that I get to Tom Nook and who hates MR. Reseti? cause I know I do!!!!! and to get cash you can just simply fish and shake the trees and dig up things and sell it .....
