Poll: Why do you like this game?

Just wondering. I liked it for awhile. Then i just realized how pointless this game is. And rather boring. There's only two things that are really any good about this to me. The NES games, which the ones i've seen aren't THAT great. Also some of the items are pretty cool(master sword for example) Not to mention how extremely retarded it looks(not that it bothers me that much, although it would to a lot of people)

Other than that its just.. dull.

what makes you keep playing?

Its that kind of... Havest Moon style game you just fall in love with instantly...

I understand what you mean. Me and my best friend played this game religiously for a couple weeks before realising how boring it is. I mean, I love the Sims, but Animal Crossing was about running around town doing errands. Not my idea of fun. And you could sit back in the Sims.

i love it cause i want to live in this world!
you don't have to worry about food, relationships, bathroom etc. like in the sims...plus the animals have no memories, if you tick them off just leave the screen and come back 1 or 2 times and they're back to normal (not that i tick them off just for the heck of it -_^)

i like to redecorate the house too...i wish i could just up and move my whole house and stuff with me like the animals do, moving in rl really bites and i might have to do it again soon...
