I was right, except this was another slow chapter. Though....Sasuke looks like he's pretty ****ed right now. Naruto might have crushed his wrist. Kakashi looked pretty pissed too.

He's probably at the same level of control as when he was fighting Orochimaru in the Forest of Death. No real killer intent. Just seriously pissed off.

It also appears Naruto influenced Sasuke to have a change of heart. At least in the part about fighting as equals from Konohagakure.

Well in any case its obvious Sasuke isn't going back. He'll probably get whooped despite fighting back a bit. Then at the end of the next chapter or the one after that Sasuke will roll out the lvl 2 Curse Seal.

Agreed. Even then, I don't think Curse Seal Level 2 will do him a whole lot of good. I mean, Neji, Chouji, and the others were able to hold off those losers with the curse seal level 2 activated. Naruto/Nine-Tails, shouldn't have a problem I don't think. Also, Kakashi is on his way and I bet Kabuto is as well.

I can actually see it now. It'll probably be like this:
They fight on even ground until they both knock eachother out or something of that sort. Then they both collapse and pass out. Kakashi and Kabuto both show up around the same time and decide to cut their losses and picks up their respective student/recruit and decide to just part ways.

Agreed, I don't think they'll cut losses or anything. I think Kabuto will get there first and take Sasuke, and Kakashi will show up after they've turned tail and run from Naruto. I mean, even Orochimaru is scared of the Nine-tails power, so I don't think Kabuto will want to risk fighting Naruto.

I don't know, we'l just have to see what happens I guess.

Chakrah outline more like. Though Naruto isn't home anymore it seems. Kyubi might be taking more control this time than usual. We get to see Kyubi Naruto lvl 2 in action now.

Anime is indeed branching off into filler story. Doesn't seem necessary though. Coulda done it during the time skip which should occur around the end of the current arc.

Well, Naruto's had that power forever, and it's been increasingly resembling the Nine-Tails, so that part makes sense--as for his power always raising when he's in danger, that should be expected. I doubt the Kyuubi would let its host die when it may have the chance to take him over sometime. And it's also true that Sasuke's eyes would eventually change. Add to that the fact that he did indeed have a Level 2 curse seal. It's rather DBZ-ish, but from an objective standpoint it all makes sense, sans possibly the Sharingan evolving.

Hopefully this won't recur too often, although I'd love to see Orochimaru versus Kyuubi-Naruto ^__^

I didn't mind Naruto's kyubi power. I thought it was awesome how he unleashed the beast all over Sasuke's ass.

But this fight is starting to get severely drawn out and dull, I think. Sasuke has a terribly developed personality; I can feel almost no sympathy for him, even though the author seems to find it necessary to rub him in my face every 5 seconds. Right now the fight has been just Naruto and Sasuke taking turns going "LOL ILL UNLEASH MY NEW FULL POWER," and Sasuke's cursed seal form... Jesus. He just looks retarded. I'm hoping this fight will have some form of conclusion next week, but knowing how Masashi's been doing things lately, it won't.
