no. If the American Shonen Jump were released weekly (like the japanese one) then everything'd be great. But since in addition to printing the comics, they also have to translate them to english, it takes more time.

Well, where I am, the Chuunin Exam! I've just met Gara and Rock Lee for the first time, and Rock Lee has challenged Sasuke!

Gara is evilishly cool and badass...

But Rock Lee looks like a Douche.

No, seriously.

A goofy, goofy douche. He will probably proove to be awesumo-badass in the future... but he still looks like a friggin' douche.

Well, my brother came home with the fansubs on his laptop. There's nothing wrong with ours, apparently. Anyway, they just passed the exam to get the bells 'n' stuff. Friggin' awesome. Yeah.

We had to stop before we got to the big storyline, though. We'd be watching episodes 6-19 if we hadn't restrained ourselves. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

It may just be me, but i always thought the Ninjutsu looked better in the manga than the anime. The artwork showed speed waaaaaaay better.

Just got done with the Second exam. A few comments-[SPOILERS]

-Gaara. W...T....F...

-Sakura. We all knew that she was going to cut it because of the intro, but the flashbacks added drama...to her cutting her hair. That's why I love this show. They can make haircuts and written tests critical plot points.

-Sasuke and Naruto. Now, both come with immediate taps to an ultimate evil! Each sold seperately.

-and lastly, Oruchimaru. HOLY GOD. Can he get eviler?...Don't answer that.

Oh, by the way-did you hear that 4Kids wants to Dub Naruto? I hope the owners are smart enough not to completely ruin their show by presenting it here...with 4Kids involved in any way. Give it to Adult Swim or Toonami. It might be with good hands. As long as they don't edit out entire characters*coughDBZcough*.

I can't even see 4kids showing even a portion of Naruto. Blood, shoving fingers up people butts, killer sand ninja.....they'd be damn fools for trying. Plus they have to stop once they get to Jiraiya if they even get that far....I doubt the Zabuza arc would be aired at all....and if it was Haku = Huka or something that makes him a girl.

Thats what Fox did with Slayers. Either they bought it so AS wouldn't get it. Or they thought they were going to get a great kids show....which they found was far from it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Haku was a girl, because in Japanese "Him" has no masculine meaning, and I thought she just lied about her sex to Naruto so that he could fight him without hesitating. Or something.

w00t! Almost done with the prelims. I hope Chouji doesn't go up against Gaara or the Sound Ninja...but then again Rock Lee wouldn't exactly be the best match for him either.

Oh, and Hinata/Neji...Holy crap. I used to like Neji, too...but now that he (maybe) killed Hinata, he's up there with Oruchimaru and Kabuto.Oh, I used to like Kabuto, too. Friggin' commie spies.

Exciting is an understatement. How heavy WERE those weights, anyway? Rock Lee almost killed himself. But Primary Lotus was sweeeet.Friggin Gaara.
