One Piece vs. Naruto - VGF

I don't know if this has been done before or not but, I must know which is preffered. I like Naruto better. I haven't read alot of the One Piece Manga and don't plan too. But, Naruto is really cool (has anyone seen the anime of either of these?)

As a pirate, I vote for the awesome One Piece. Naruto looks pretty awesome, too. I plan on starting it this weekend.

I've read some of Naruto. Like I said, it's really awesome but I think One Piece is better.

Naruto, hands down. Summed up it is much more in-depth and story-oriented. However, One Piece is definitely an exceptional anime, and God Dammit, it's a blast. The whole thing is fun, with characters very well-developped and gloriously innovative character design(on the male part, at least...) to boot.

It plays like the Make-Believe Pirate Adventures you had as a kid.^^

I've never read One Piece, so I'm not voting in the poll. However, Naruto's character design, character development, storyline, character personality, character everything, and humor all get summed up into a masterpiece. Like I said, I've never read One Piece and heard it's a pure comedy about pirates. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I always like Story and characters more. Plus Ninjas are cooler than Pirates.

^ You heard wrong. One Piece have a lot of comedy and humor, but it also has a ton of action and fights. One Piece has awesome characters and a good story. It's hands-down the most creative thing I've ever seen. I mean, the ship's DOCTOR is a REINDEER(well, a human-reindeer)! How awesome is that?!

But from what I've seen, Naruto has more fast-paced fights. And that is awesome. The characters, from what I can tell, are just as awesome and developed as One Piece's.

I'd probably say that One Piece is the pirate equivalent of Naruto.

I have read some of One Piece and I despise it. Naruto is better. Ninjas own pirates. And before anyone can say "read more One Piece it grows on you." First of all I don't want pirates growing on me. Second of all reading more One Piece would be like... stabbing yourself and screaming, OWWW THAT REALLY HURT... I think I'll do it again. Not saying One Piece is no good (I just think it sucks)

My friend's been pushing me to read Naruto for a LONG time now. I read some of the beginning (meaning, maybe three or four pages of the first book), but didn't get into it too much. I'll ask him to lend me some Naruto and One Piece so I can compare and contrast. However, there is a temporary solution to the Ninja vs Pirate debate.

I used to like Naruto a bit more, but I'm more in favor of OP now. The newest chapters of Naruto are kind of boring, and OP just has better pacing.
